Return Policies

Dear member of our Heimreise community,


If you have decided to return an item, we would like to offer you some guidance to make the process as simple as possible. This return policy applies to all items you have purchased from us, regardless of whether they were sold directly by Heimreise GbR or by one of our marketplace partners.


You can return items in the condition you received them - unused and complete. Please note that the return must always be sent to the address of the respective seller. 

Yes, there are some cases where a return is unfortunately not possible. These include damaged items (unless the damage is due to transit damage that is not your fault), items without original packaging or missing accessories, electronic software licenses, food items, underwear and socks, apparel or shoes with signs of wear or removed labels, e-vehicles, electronic items that have already been customized or put into operation, and opened items of certain product categories (e.g., consumables, hygiene products, child seats, software with broken seals, books, DVDs, items that have already been used for preparing or storing food). 

For items sold directly by Heimreise GbR, the return period is 14 days. For items sold by one of our marketplace partners, the return period is 30 days. These periods start from the day you or a person designated by you took possession of the goods.

If you return an item in proper condition, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price minus the costs of any ancillary or delivery services. Please note that we cannot refund additional costs incurred by a different type of delivery than the standard delivery offered by us. 

We cover the costs of returning items as an additional service, provided that the items meet the above criteria and are in perfect condition. If the items do not meet these criteria, you will have to bear the costs of the return yourself.


Please remember to remove all personal data stored on the item to be returned. By returning the goods, you agree that the goods will become the property of the respective seller.
